About the Course
Asbestos is considered one of the most hazardous building materials ever used. Each year, thousands of individuals become ill and die due to asbestos exposure, and it was extensively utilized in the construction industry until the year 2000.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 pertain to employers, employees, self-employed individuals, and duty holders, encompassing all work involving asbestos-containing materials. Regulation 10 of CAR mandates that every employer must ensure that employees who might be exposed to asbestos receive sufficient information, instruction, and training. This includes maintenance workers and others who may encounter or disturb asbestos.
